Jennifer Lopez electrified the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) with a dynamic performance and a surprise announcement of her new Las Vegas residency, “Up All Night Live in Las Vegas.” This marks her return to the Vegas stage since her successful “All I Have” residency from 2016 to 2018.

The residency will commence during New Year’s Eve week with performances on December 30 and 31, 2025, and January 2 and 3, 2026, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. An additional eight shows are scheduled throughout March 2026. Tickets go on presale for Caesars Rewards members and select customers from June 4 to June 5, with general sales starting on June 6 at 10 a.m. PT. The show promises a blend of Lopez’s biggest hits and exclusive new tracks .
At the AMAs, Lopez hosted for the second time, her first since 2015, and delivered a high-energy medley performance that included 23 songs in just six minutes. Her performance featured hits by artists like Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Bad Bunny, and included a memorable moment where she kissed two of her dancers, evoking iconic award show moments of the past .
Lopez’s fashion choices during the event also garnered attention. She made eight outfit changes, with the most talked-about being a daring backless jumpsuit by Monot that revealed part of her backside. Other standout ensembles included a crystal-covered nude bodysuit and a metallic dress with bold side cut-outs .

The announcement of her Las Vegas residency comes after a challenging period in her career. Her latest album, “This Is Me… Now,” released in February 2024, marked her first new music in a decade but debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200, making it the worst-selling of her career. The accompanying tour faced disappointing ticket sales, leading to the cancellation of multiple bookings and a rebranding as a “Greatest Hits” showcase

Despite these setbacks, Lopez remains committed to her craft. She told CBS News, “There’s just something different about Vegas. It’s just a more intimate experience… But this is the type of place where you have to be a great entertainer.” Her previous residency at Planet Hollywood grossed over $100 million from 120 performances, making it one of the highest-grossing Las Vegas residencies of all time .

Lopez’s return to Las Vegas with “Up All Night Live” is poised to be a significant event, blending her iconic hits with new material in an intimate setting. Fans can anticipate a high-energy show that showcases her enduring talent and stage presence.
