For the eighth game in a straight, Angel Reese posted a double-double, becoming the first rookie to do it since A’ja Wilson. Reese scored 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Chicago Sky rallied from a 15-point deficit to defeat Indiana Fever in a nail-biter thanks to 25 points and 16 rebounds from Reese. Clark led her squad with 17 points and set a franchise record with 13 assists for Fever. For Reese, this was the first victory over Clark since the 2023 NCAA final.
However, after defeating Atlanta Dream 96–75, the New York Liberty climbed to the top of the league standings. With two games in a row scoring 20 points or more, Sabrina Ionescu put up 26 points.
