OT7 Nationals day two began with another sweltering day. This weekend in Tampa, many top prospects are eager to make a national impact. Kids love this event. If you appreciate seeing quarterbacks and receivers practice against talented defensive backs and linebackers, this is your event. You may wish to skip this article otherwise.
Xavier McDonald (Pooh Man) was mentioned yesterday. He burned again today. This kid is dangerous from the line. It would not surprise me if he is the best now. Mississippi State offered McDonald. Morton (Miss) four-star understands how to cut ties. He cooked linemen while they tried to catch him. Pooh Man automatically appears when the football is placed there. He’s strong enough to grab the football in tight coverage. He gives quarterbacks a good target to throw to.
Ti Mims Jr. glides across Tampa Riverwalk like a swan. Alabama Baldwin County wide receiver Mims is three-star. In 7v7, a player gets downed with one touch. Two players missed after touching him on one play. He made them miss and grab air. You could tell he wasn’t touched as the instant replay played again in slow motion. Mims’ routes are good too. Mississippi State supporters should ask why he has no offer. He has twenty-one offers, including Ole Miss. This is a player college coaches want. His hands are good too.
Dylan Wilson is a four-star safety from Pascagoula in 2026. His offer is from Mississippi State. Wilson plays safety well and holds his side down. Wilson deserves greater attention. He can prove he’s a top 247 prospect this weekend.
Oakland (Tenn) High School 2025 athlete Daune Morris has been impressive this weekend. He is committed to USC and excited to attend. We learned Morris will play running back and slot receiver on the next level. He grooves like a polished receiver. Trojan fans will love that. Morris has done well separating this weekend. He also flaunts his gentle hands.
