Since the start of the 2020s, the Georgia Bulldogs have dominated collegiate football. They have, nevertheless, had difficulty facing the Crimson Tide of Alabama. In 2021 and 2022, the Bulldogs won national titles, although since 2008, they have only defeated the Crimson Tide once. After losing to Alabama in the SEC championship one month prior, this victory came in the 2022 national championship game. In the previous season’s SEC championship game, Alabama defeated Georgia 27–24 to stop their attempt to win three straight titles. This will be the first time the two teams have faced each other in the regular season since 2020. The SEC expert on “Paul Finebaum Show” projected that the Crimson Tide will defeat the Bulldogs once more. “I’m definitely leaning toward Alabama,”

The Bulldogs’ lone advantage is that famed coach Nick Saban is no longer watching Alabama from the sidelines. This will be the first time Kalen DeBoer has played for the Crimson Tide.
This season has had highs and lows for both teams. Georgia began the season with a convincing victory over Clemson and looked dominant, but they later won closely against Kentucky. Alabama labored for three and a half quarters against South Florida, but they also looked dominant against Wisconsin. Alabama has the upper hand on offense, but both teams rank in the top 15 in total defense. No. 1 is the Crimson Tide.
