Another member of the Red Sox’s roster was restored to the active roster after being placed on the injured list. According to a news statement that was released by the Boston club, Isaiah Campbell was reinstated to the team on Thursday after being lifted from the 15-day injury list. Following that, the right-handed pitcher was offered the opportunity to play for Worcester, which is a team that competes in the Triple-A championship.
On the 12th of April, the footballer, who is 26 years old, was placed on the disabled list due to information surrounding his right shoulder. A total of six rehabilitation appearances were made by the right-handed pitcher with the WooSox. During these appearances, he pitched six and a third innings and allowed one run to score against him.
Campbell had a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 6.61 and an earned run average of 12.79 when he was placed on the injured list. He had pitched in seven games prior to suffering an injury. Campbell’s return to the lineup occurred during the same week that Tyler O’Neill was reinstated from the injured list, Chris Martin was placed on the disabled list, and the bullpen pitcher will be joining Nick Yorke, who was promoted from Double-A, in Triple-A Worcester. All of these events took place during the same week.
