Everton should make a last-gasp move to sign £90k-a-week Man United player after fresh update
Everton have been trailblazers in the market this summer, with teams seemingly following their suit for a nice change.
After all, the Toffees were the first party interested in both Yankuba Minteh and Jaden Philogene, but complications saw those stars move to Premier League rivals.

And this is not the first time that exciting talents seemed set to move to Goodison Park before moving elsewhere either, with Mohammed Kudus and Luiz Diaz both having been touted to join before opting for alternative clubs.
It’s supremely frustrating, but an unfortunate expectation given the allure of the Toffees has diminished with their regressing stature and finances.
However, with the latest news that has just emerged regarding one transfer saga, perhaps it could now be Sean Dyche who benefits from a stalling deal.
West Ham United stall on Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal
David Ornstein is the latest to provide an update on Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s protracted move to West Ham United, which has been in circulation for some time now.
And yet, despite personal terms being no issue, Manchester United willing to sell and the Hammers keen to confirm it too, there seems to be something stalling the full-back’s departure.

The renowned transfer journalist wrote, just last night: ‘Work continues to resolve Aaron Wan-Bissaka move from Man Utd to West Ham. Issues between 26yo & clubs; optimism at both ends but #MUFC relaxed if stays. Meant to travel to London today for medical but still in Manchester’.
So, with Everton having fallen victim to slog negotiations allowing rivals to creep into the picture, perhaps they could consider crashing the party and solving their outstanding problem position in one fell swoop.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka would solve Everton’s right-back problem
Given Seamus Coleman is now injured, the Toffees will likely start the new Premier League campaign without their starting right-back.
And whilst many might question why he remains such an important figure at the age of 35, that is likely due to questionable recruitment over many years of failing to find his long-term successor.
Nathan Patterson, for all his apparent talent and promise, is simply not in Dyche’s plans at the moment.
So that just leaves Ashley Young, a reckless 39-year-old whose physical assets have been declining for some time now.
Lacking a starting star for that position who can come in and nail down the spot for the foreseeable future, even if Fabrizio Romano is confident that a move for the £90k-a-week star is set to go through, stranger things have happened, and there is clearly an imbalance that could provide an opening.

If Arnaut Danjuma’s January move to Everton could be hijacked then surely Dyche can fancy his chances of achieving a similar feat with Wan-Bissaka
