Jack Roslovic reportedly received $2.8 million from the Hurricanes in a one-year contract. A quick and versatile forward, Roslovic was drafted in the first round. He can play on either the flank or the centre. Last season, the Rangers traded for him and a conditional fourth-round selection with Columbus during the trade deadline. The Carolina Hurricanes, of the National Hockey League, have signed forward Jack Roslovic to a one-year, $2.8 million deal, according to the team’s general manager today. Throughout his career, Jack has consistently been an offensive contributor, according to Tulsky. “Our offensive group will be strengthened by the addition of another right-handed playmaker who can bring speed and skill to the lineup.”
In 2023–24, Roslovic, who is 27 years old, played in 59 NHL games for the New York Rangers and Columbus. He scored 31 points (9 goals, 22 assists) and added eight more points (2 assists, 6 goals) in 16 playoff games for the Rangers. In 445 NHL games across his career with the Jets, Blue Jackets, and Rangers, the 6’1″ 198-pound forward has scored 221 points (80 goals, 141 assists), with a career-best 45 points (22 goals, 23 assists) in 81 games with Columbus in 2021-22. During his time with Manitoba in the American Hockey League (AHL) from 2016 to 2018, Roslovic scored 83 points (28 goals, 55 assists) and was a member of the 2017 AHL All-Star Game.
The product of Columbus, Ohio, played at Miami University for one season in 2015–16 before becoming pro. He was named to the NCHC All-Rookie Team and had 26 points (10 goals, 16 assists) in 36 games. During his time with the US National Team Development Programme from 2013 to 2015, he played in 59 games for the USHL and scored 52 points (15 goals, 37 assists). Roslovic has also won gold medals with the United States at the 2015 IIHF Under-18 World Championship, the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in 2014, and the IIHF World Junior Championship in 2017. Winnipeg picked him up in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft, 25th overall.
