Becton has been starting at right guard for the Eagles through three weeks. Even though it sounds like he will suit up against the Buccaneers on Sunday, he is not the only offensive lineman whose status is up in the air. Right tackle Lane Johnson didn’t participate in the latest practice while left guard Landon Dickerson was limited on Wednesday.
The Eagles have shown an ability to grind out wins even when they are short-handed. The playcalling and execution obviously have to be better but the team’s effort level has been nothing short of outstanding. Becton playing through the pain is the latest example of that.
