The 20-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Molineux and West Brom got in contact with their Midlands i’m rivals about agreeing a loan for the season.
Lembikisa spent a spell on loan at Hearts in the second half of last season, where he made 18 appearances and established himself as a key player in their side.
But he is not expected to play a part in Gary O’Neil’s first-team plans following his return to Wolves and could be allowed to move before the 11pm deadline.
West Brom are in the market for a new right-back to provide competition for Darnell Furlong, with Lembikisa’s ability to play across the backline viewed as a valuable string to his bow.
