Glasgow saw a “terrifying” house fire that resulted in the emergency room receiving a casualty. On Wednesday, October 2, shortly after 7.30 a.m., emergency personnel hurried to the Germiston neighborhood’s Forge Street. Although one individual was transported by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, details regarding their current health are not available. Numerous domestic objects that are thought to have been destroyed in the fire are visible laying outside the residence. I’m only sorry for the family. Many of their possessions are broken and left outside the home. I hope no one suffered any serious injuries.” According to a representative for the Scottish Ambulance Service, “We received a call to attend an incident on Forge Street, Glasgow.” Following the dispatch of two ambulances to the scene, one patient was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. “We were alerted at 7.37am on Wednesday, 2 October, to reports of a fire within a domestic property on Forge Street in Germiston, Glasgow,” a spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service stated. “Four fire appliances were mobilized to the scene by Operations Control… crews are still present.”
