Sri Lanka spinner Praveen Jayawickrama has been given a one-year boycott from all shapes of cricket for breaching the anti-corruption code.
Jayawickrama was charged with three breaches of the code by the Worldwide Cricket Chamber (ICC) in Eminent after coming up short to report an approach to settle matches and discouraging an examination.
The 26-year-old along these lines conceded to breaching the anti-corruption code.
“As a result of the affirmation, Jayawickrama has acknowledged a authorize of a one-year period of ineligibility, of which the final six months are suspended,” the ICC said.
The ICC said Jayawickrama was drawn closer to settle worldwide matches and inquired to contact another player to settle matches within the 2021 season of the Lanka Chief Alliance.
